Plans have been submitted to extend part of a DIY store.
B&Q has applied for planning permission to increase a section of its store at Barker Road, Maidstone.
The company want to expand the garden centre from 330 to 445 sq metres.
On behalf of B&Q, planning engineers Bryan G Hall carried out a transport assessment.
It reads: "The area is currently used on occasion for the informal storage of goods associated with the garden centre.
"The formal extension of the garden centre will include the provision of galvanised steel fencing that is 3.6m high including 0.6m of 3 lines of razor wire.
"This is the same as the existing fence line around the current outdoor garden centre area."
Pre-application advice sought from a representative of Maidstone council said: "I do not consider the proposal to impact the character and appearance of the area or the residential amenity of any neighbouring properties."
If approved, the store will lose five of its existing car parking spaces - taking the total from 98 to 93.
Meanwhile the number of employees at the shop will remain the same.

A decision as to whether the expansion is approved is expected by November 16.
