A plea has again been delayed in the case of a man accused of murdering his teenage wife on Christmas Day.
Mohammad Qoraishi's QC Bernard Tetlow said an adendum was needed to a psychiatric report.
Mr Tetlow said a psychiatrist would not need to see the 27-year-old again and MaidstoneCrown Court would be informed when the full report was ready.
He added that he would not be able to give his client proper professional advice until then.
The body of 19-year-old Parwin Quriashi was found at the couple’s flat at Kentish Court, off London Road in Maidstone, shortly before 1.20pm on Christmas Day.
Other residents expressed shock at the death of the former Maplesden Noakes School pupil in a neighbourhood described as "peaceful".
Qoraishi, who was remanded in custody, is due to stand trial on June 3.
Judge David Griffith-Jones QC told him: "When you come back before the court you will have received appropriate advice and you will then enter a plea."
