Police are seeking witnesses to a serious crash in Goudhurst.
Officers want to speak to anyone who has information about the collision on the westbound A262, at about 7.30am on Friday.
A 24–year-old man from Tenterden suffered serious head injuries when his black Vauxhall Corsa SXi came off the road, near the junction where Clayhill meets Lurkins Rise, and hit a tree.
He was taken to King's College Hospital in London for treatment.
Kent Police closed part of the road from 8am to noon, while the car was recovered and evidence was gathered.
Witnesses are asked to call PC Christopher Oliver-Jones, at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, on 01622 798538.
