Two people have been arrested after a fight erupted outside Maidstone's Town Hall this lunchtime.

A large crowd looked on as the brawl happened, around 12.15pm in Jubilee Square.

One man had a visible head injury, and the other was reportedly kicked while he was on the ground.

Two police cars went to the scene and officers helped to break up the brawl.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
