Police helicopter helps hunt down man in Allington wanted on suspicion of drink driving, theft and possession of a controlled drug

A police helicopter was used to hunt down a suspect in Allington last night.
Its presence led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man, who was wanted on suspicion of theft, drink driving and possession of a controlled drug, on Tintern Close.
He was arrested at 10.45pm, two hours after police were first called to the area.
He was arrested on foot and as of Friday afternoon remains in police custody.
