Police investigate damage to ambulance windscreen near Morrisons on Sutton Road, Maidstone

Police are investigating after the windscreen of an ambulance was smashed.
The damage was done while the ambulance was parked close to Morrisons on Sutton Road, Maidstone yesterday evening around 5pm.
The crew were in the cab of the vehicle when it happened, and saw something hit the windscreen.
They were unharmed, but the ambulance had to be taken off duty and repaired.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We would urge anyone who knows anything regarding this irresponsible behaviour to come forward. We want those involved to know the consequences of their action."
