Police investigate stabbing at Maidstone's Winter Social music festival

A man was stabbed in a suspected case of mistaken identity at a Maidstone music festival.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was leaving the Winter Social venue at the Detling Showground on Saturday between 10pm and 10.30pm when he was knifed in the arm.
The suspect, who is described as being tanned, tall and wearing a black body warmer, was shouting "Nick", which is not the victim’s name.
A police spokesman said the victim was treated at the scene and went to hospital the next day for further treatment.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses.
