KENT police are reminding drivers not to leave valuables in unattended vehicles. The warning comes after thieves broke into a Peugeot estate in Lock Lane, Sandling, near Maidstone.
They smashed the vehicle's rear window and stole a rucksack, a camera case and lens, a silver pen and other items.
Police say the owner of the property had left the items underneath a blanket.
