Police have executed a drugs warrant at a flat in Maidstone.

At approximately 6.15pm this evening officers, equipped with a battering ram, stormed a property in Broadway Heights, in the Broadway and in close proximity to Maidstone West train station.

The team forced entry into the property to investigate suspected drug offences.

The police van and the dog unit vehicle both parked in the neighbouring train station’s car park.

Officers were acting in response concerns raised by members of the public who have been working with Maidstone neighbourhood officers.

It was a follow up to warrants executed in Ringlestone on Monday, Stepmber 2, when four people were arrested.

That operation was carried out in Dickens Road at 5.30pm and it is understood officers had to give chase across back gardens to apprehend some of the suspects.

Two men, aged 23 and 34, and two women aged 26 and 50, were arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
