Police seize 'heroin' after Maidstone arrests

Two men have been arrested after police seized what is thought to be heroin in Maidstone.
Plain clothes officers were in the Lockmeadow complex on Barker Road when they spotted the pair acting suspiciously.
The 34 and 62-year-old, who are both from the area, were taken to Maidstone police station for a drug search.
Both were arrested at 3pm on Thursday, February 8 after a search revealed a quantity of what is thought to be heroin, along with cash.
The 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug and the 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
The men were later released under investigation.
