Drivers have been warned to approach Maidstone Bridge with caution due to a traffic light failure.
Kent County Council’s highways team reported the lights were out at the bridge system, due to a power cut this morning.
Officers from UK Power Networks have since restored power to the area and the lights are now working.
A statement from the company said: “Engineers have restored power to 18 customers in Maidstone High Street after a fault at a local substation interrupted supplies between 10.18am and 12.15pm today.
“We apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused.”
