A primary school has had to close today as it's been left with no heating or hot water.

Kitchen staff went into Tiger Primary School, in Boughton Lane, Loose, this morning and discovered the problem.

The school decided to close today.

Tiger Primary School spokesman Jamie Fitzgerald said: "We've already contacted the engineers so we hope they'll be in today to fix the problem.

"We're hoping to reopen the school tomorrow."

The school will be updating parents on the situation throughout the day.
