Maidstone’s new private hospital is due to be opened next week.
The Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery (KIMS) has been completed at a cost of £85m in just two years.
It will be opened on Wednesday by Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, who is the grandson of George V.
The Prince is president of the Society of Architect-Artists.
The time of the Royal's arrival is yet to be announced.
The hospital near junction 7 of the M20 will have 350 clinicians and will offer some specialist services for the NHS.
