Man arrested after six-vehicle collision in Willington Street, Bearsted, near the A20 Ashford Road

A man has been arrested and two people have been taken to hospital after six vehicles collided.
The accident happened at about 2.25pm in Willington Street, Bearsted, near Maidstone, not far from the junction for the A20 Ashford Road.
The junction was closed while emergency services dealt with the crash but it has since reopened.
Police say three people were hurt and two of them have been taken to hospital.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has been taken into custody.
Drivers were urged to find alternative routes due to the delays in the area.
