Lower Road, East Farleigh near junction with Dean Street, closed after two cars crashed and one overturned

Drivers had been urged to take alternative routes after two cars crashed and one overturned.
Officers were called to Lower Road, East Farleigh, near the junction with Dean Street, just before 7.30am this morning (August 1).
The road is closed while arrangements were made to recover one of the vehicles.
By 9.30am the vehicles were recovered and the road reopened.
The ambulance service said it treated one person at the scene before taking them to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for further medical care.
The police had said: “Drivers should consider alternative routes due to significant congestion in the area while emergency services are dealing with the incident.”
