Ambulance crews and a police helicopter were called to a crash in Parkwood, near Maidstone, late last night.

Pictures reveal a van came off the A274 Sutton Road at the Edmett Way roundabout.

The road was closed following the accident at about 10pm.

The extent of any injuries is not yet known.

A witness said the police helicopter was in attendance and one person was taken away in an ambulance.

The road remained shut at midnight.
