A Maidstone road shut in March is set to remain closed for another two weeks.
Kent County Council Highways sectioned off part of Boxley Road originally to investigate subsidence. It was then fully closed for repairs on April 13.
It was confirmed a day later that the cause of the subsidence was two water leaks from a burst mains pipe below the road.
South East Water assisted in fixing the issue but was unable to fit a part of the pipe until last Friday.
The water company has since repaired it but the resulting delays have pushed back KCC's plans of completing the repairs by the end of April.
The works are now set to be delayed by two weeks meaning meaning the road will be closed until at least May 14.
A diversion route is set in place via Penenden Heath Road, A249 Sittingbourne Road, B2012 Holland Road and B2012 Well Road.
