A229 Loose Road partially blocked after accident

A collision involving four vehicles has left the A229 Loose Road southbound partially blocked at the junction with Plains Avenue in Maidstone.
One lane of the carriageway is currently closed following the accident, which happened around 6.20pm.
Drivers are warned to expect delays.
