A gang who followed a woman before stealing her Audi, crashed it into a police car after fleeing a crime scene.
Last week, two women had their cars stolen in the Maidstone area and police are appealing for more information.
At around 10.30am on Wednesday a woman was robbed, with an unknown man taking her car keys, while she walked in a hotel car park in Ashford Road, Bearsted.
Her orange Honda Jazz was stolen.
The second offence is reported to have taken place in the Bluebell Drive and Campion Way area of Marden at around 1pm on Saturday.
During the incident a woman was robbed of a black Audi TT by an unknown man.
She told police she had been followed by an orange Honda Jazz while she travelled in Plain Road and Albion Road, Marden.
Around 30 minutes after the Audi TT was stolen, it was involved in a collision with a Kent Police car in Linton Hill. The occupants fled on foot and inquiries to locate them are ongoing.
The Honda Jazz was found abandoned in a field in Stilebridge Lane later that day.
Neither of the women were seriously injured.
Police are particularly keen to obtain dash cam that captures either of the vehicles being driven in the Plain Road and Albion Road area of Marden between midday and 1pm on Saturday.
Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting 46/15584/20.
