More than 300 children from 13 primary schools took part in the Maidstone school indoor athletics tournament.
The competition at Maidstone Leisure Centre was hosted by St Augustine’s Academy.
Two schools entered two teams, so there were 15 teams competing overall in events which included individual and relay track races, obstacle races, long jump and javelin.
Scores of parents were there to cheer on their youngsters, all from Years 5 and 6.
School Sports Partnership Manager John Saunders said: “The atmosphere was brilliant!”
Roseacre emerged the eventual winners and they will now represent Maidstone in the finals of the Kent Schools Games.
