Search for missing schoolgirl
00:00, 24 October 2003
CONCERN is growing for a 15-year-old schoolgirl who has been missing from home for a week.
Rachel Bozier, of Greenside, Maidstone, left for school last Thursday morning but has not been seen by her family since.
She met her boyfriend in Chatham the following day and also telephoned her mother. She has not contacted anyone since then.
Police are concerned for her welfare as she had been feeling depressed and upset. They would like to hear from anyone with any information about her whereabouts.
Rachel is described as 5ft 4in tall, of medium build with blue/green eyes, shoulder-length blonde/brown hair with a fair complexion.
She was last seen wearing her school uniform which consists of grey trousers, a white shirt, a blue patterned tie, a black jacket and black Dr Marten boots. She was also wearing a silver cross and chain.
It is believed that Rachel may still be in Kent, possibly somewhere coastal, or the Medway area. Anyone with information is asked to telephone PC Claire Baker on 01622 608082.
