Sedona secured another award

KIA Sedona has, for the second year running, won the best MPV award in the Auto Express Used Car Honours 2003 held in conjunction with Glass’s Guide.
Judged according to depreciation rates, running costs and after sales package, Sedona beat off tough competition from rivals in the Ford and SEAT line-ups to take the top spot in the MPV category.
The judging panel included TV personality and used car expert Mike Brewer, senior cars editor for Glass’s Guide Jeff Paterson and senior staff from Auto Express magazine.
Receiving the award, David Macpherson, national used car manager said: “I am delighted with this award from Auto Express/Glass’s Guide. It underlines the fact that Sedona is not just an excellent new car purchase but a great second-hand buy as well.
“I am particularly pleased with the strength of the residual values Sedona is now commanding. This confirms the high level of confidence of the trade in our car as well as the strength of consumer demand.”
Launched in September 1999, Kia has sold more than 11,000 Sedonas in the UK. With Sedona challenging for top selling large MPV to retail customers, Kia Sedona is proving to be a popular choice for UK buyers.
