DETECTIVES are investigating a serious sex attack on a young woman in the Waveney Road area of Tonbridge. The attack took place at about midnight last night.

The incident is not being linked to Operation Orb, the hunt for a serial rapist who has struck several times in the south-east.The victim in this incident is understood to be in her early 20s.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Waveney Road area last night between 11pm and midnight or who may have any information about the incident.
