A man arrested in connection with a serious sex assault has been released without charge.
The 39-year-old, from Maidstone, was questioned by police after a woman, in her 30s, said she was attacked in the private grounds at St Andrew’s Park, Barming.
Police were told the incident had taken place in the gated community, off Queen’s Road, at 9.45pm on Sunday, October 19.
The man’s bail was extended twice after the crime was reported but officers decided not pursue any charges when the latest extension finished on Friday.
