Stop checks on drivers in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks caught out several motorists.
The 'day of action' carried out by Kent Police on October 11 saw one motorist arrested for an assault in Maidstone and another for possession of cocaine when officers searched his car.
Further stop checks saw the use of automatic number plate recognition technology, which revealed one motorist driving without insurance. His vehicle was seized.
Another was spotted using a mobile phone at the wheel and now faces a £200 fine and six penalty points.
Sergeant Ash Boxall said: "Targeted action, such as ANPR checks, can be a really effective way to identify suspects wanted for crimes across the county. It also helps us develop intelligence around the movements of people who may be likely to commit offences in the future.
"By also taking a proactive and robust approach to those committing road traffic offences, be it through speeding, not wearing seatbelts or using a phone while driving, we hope motorists will be reminded of their responsibilities to ensure they are driving safely and within the law."
