Police and firefighters called after car overturns in Foley Street, Maidstone

A road was cordoned off after a car overturned in the middle of a residential street.
Images show what appears to be a red Ford KA on its roof in Foley Street, Maidstone.
It happened shortly after 5pm today (October 7).
The stretch had been cordoned off by police with four fire engines also in attendance near the junction with Allen Street.
Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a woman was treated for minor injuries. Arrangements were made to recover the vehicle.
Crews from Kent Fire and Rescue later left the scene at around 5.50pm.
A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 5.31pm on Monday 7 October to a report that a car had overturned in Foley Street, Maidstone.
“Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a woman was treated for minor injuries. Arrangements were made to recover the vehicle.”
