Dancer Ola Jordan has been injured while practising for a ski-themed TV show.
The Polish-born beauty, who lives in Maidstone, was hurt during training for Channel 4's The Jump.
The accident has left the 32-year-old in a leg cast and on crutches.
She has had to pull out of the Channel 4 ski-themed series. A spokesman said: "Unfortunately, due to injury, Ola is no longer able to take part."
The ballroom favourite was also unable to perform in the group performance on Saturday's episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
The dancer became a household name from her role as a professional on the BBC programme, which she won in 2009 with celebrity partner Chris Hollins.
Ola bowed out of this year's competition in the eighth week with TV presenter Steve Backshall.
Her husband James Jordan, who is from Medway, danced on the show for a number of years but did not return for the current series.
The couple previously lived near West Malling.
