Students step out in West End style

CLASSIC show tunes from the West End provided the inspiration for a group of dance students from a Maidstone college as they took to the stage for the first time.
Sixty students from Senacre Technology College's dance club performed a Wonders of the West End dance show at the college last week interpreting songs from shows such as Bugsy Malone, Little Shop of Horrors and The Blues Brothers.
The students, aged from seven to 16, were led by Maidstone dance teacher Emmajo Holliday, who formed the club earlier this year.
"I approached the college this summer and suggested that they might benefit from having a dance club, and it has been a huge success all the students seem to enjoy it and we even have a few boys in the group," she said.
"Rehearsals started in September and we have been holding them twice a week. This is our first big show and I think one of the first big shows the college has had the students have worked very hard for this and have done incredibly well."
