Suspected shoplifter from Maidstone charged with thefts in Snodland, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and West Malling

A suspected serial shoplifter is to appear in court charged with a series of thefts from stores across west Kent.
Alcohol, groceries and fuel were reportedly stolen from shops and petrol stations in areas including Snodland, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and West Malling over more than six months between April and November.
Liam Chapman, of Langdale Rise, Maidstone, was arrested on Thursday and has now been charged with five counts of theft and four counts of making off without making payment.
The 33-year-old is bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrate’ Court on 21 January 21.
