A suspected shoplifter accused of twice leaving a Morrisons petrol station without paying has appeared in court.
Lisa Wallace has been charged with multiple offences including allegedly taking goods worth more than £500 from a chemist in Tenterden High Street on October 14.
Around a month later police were notified a car refuelled on two separate occasions at the Morrisons petrol station in St Saviours Road, Maidstone, before the driver left without paying.
During this period items to the value of more than £150 were also reported stolen from business in Lenham.
Wallace, of Chestnut Close, Maidstone, was arrested last Thursday and later charged with two thefts and two counts of making off without payment.
The 50-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day where she was bailed pending a further hearing at the same court on January 3.
