An insurer has undergone a refurbishment at one of its high street branches.
Swinton Insurance has revamped its reception area at 100 to 104 King Street, Maidstone, so customers have a bright, modern space to drink coffee in while contemplating policies.
There are also private areas to buy insurance in.
The firm, a UK subsidiary of French mutual insurance group Covéa, has been in existence for more than 50 years and has in excess of 1.4million customers.
It offers home, car, bike and van insurance, insures taxis and provides breakdown cover, in person, online or over the phone.
Customer service manager Jane Thurston, who joined Swinton 17 years ago, said: “The team at Maidstone are really excited to be working in a new, modern environment. We’ve got more than 58 years’ experience between the eight of us here, and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of new customers to help them with their insurance needs.”
Mayor of Maidstone Cllr Derek Butler said it was good to see a company so passionate about the town’s future.
