An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault on a bus driver.
Callum Walters, of Oak Tree Avenue in Mangravet, Maidstone, is accused of wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
The charge relates to an attack on an Arriva employee on Monday, March 2.
The worker told police he was reaching his final stop in Lacock Gardens, off Armstrong Road, when he was shot in the face with a ball bearing, fired from a catapult.
Walters, who was arrested on Saturday, has been remanded to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court today.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Friday on suspicion of suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He has been bailed until Sunday, April 12 while the investigation continues.
