Teenagers hurt in street attacks

TWO teenagers are recovering after suffering cuts and bruises in two separate attacks in Maidstone town centre.
The first took place at about 2.30pm last Friday afternoon on St Peter's Bridge in the Broadway.
An 18-year-old was approached and attacked by a group of three men who stole his silver Samsung mobile phone before fleeing towards the A20.
The attackers were all white and in their late teens. One was 5 ft 9ins with gelled blond hair. He had a broad build and was wearing a white T-shirt, black bottoms, a sports jacket and a gold chain.
Another was 5 ft 10ins, slim with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a black, knee-length coat and a black top. The third man was slim and wore a mustard-coloured jacket.
The second incident took place at about 7.30pm on Sunday outside Maidstone East station.
A 15-year-old boy had just got off a train when he was approached by two older teenage boys who pushed him to the ground and searched his pockets. When they found nothing, they ran away towards the Royal Mail building in Sandling Road.
The attackers were both white and in their late teens. One was wearing a light-blue hooded top, dark blue jeans and a had a silver stud earring.
The other had short dark hair and a thin beard. He was wearing a light-blue baseball cap, dark blue tracksuit bottoms and a dark blue jumper.
