Beaverbrooks Maidstone's £100,000 advent calendar swaps chocolate for diamonds

Imagine starting every day with a new piece of diamond jewellery.
A Maidstone jewellers is offering exactly that this Christmas, by swapping chocolate for diamonds in a six-figure advent calendar.
Valued at £100,000, Beaverbrooks in Fremlin Walk, has a calendar with 25 drawers of gifts for each day of the festive countdown.
Products in the calendar include a Once Platinum Diamond Solitaire Ring worth £26,000 and a £975 nine carat white gold diamond pendant.
The total worth of the calendar, which can only be bought on special order, is thought to be more than £123,000.
Emma Stewart, store manager at Beaverbrooks Maidstone, said: “For a century, we’ve been passionate about diamonds, so we’re extremely excited to announce the launch of our diamond-a-day advent calendar in celebration of our 100th Christmas at Beaverbrooks.
“Creating an advent calendar from some of our most beautiful diamond products has been a huge milestone for us, with each piece hand-selected to ensure the utmost beauty and sparkle in every drawer.
“We’ve been a part of Maidstone’s treasured Christmas memories for a century, helping them choose the most meaningful gifts for their loved ones.

Other products include pieces from the jewellers’ Beyond Brilliance collection, including these stunning Beyond Brilliance 18ct White Gold and Rose Gold Diamond Earrings, £4,250, which feature the world’s first 100 faceted diamond.
