Fire near Allington 20/20 Industrial Estate in Maidstone

The fire service was called after thick black smoke was seen billowing into the sky.
Crews arrived at in Castle Road, Maidstone just after 3pm, following reports that a large amount of smoke was coming from the Allington 20/20 Industrial Estate.
Eyewitnesses Lukhvinder Kooner spotted the plumes from Allington Community Centre.
He said: "At about 3pm, smoke could be seen rising over the trees. It appeared to be coming from the Allington 20/20 industrial Estate.
"I could hear lots of sirens from emergency vehicles in the Castle Road area. "
However, when a fire engine arrived at the scene, crews found it was just controlled burning, and the incident was closed at 3.15pm.
