Thugs rob young man at knifepoint

ROBBERS threatened a man with a knife before taking his wallet from him as he walked through a wooded area.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was walking in a spot off Sutton Road, Maidstone, when he was approached by one man and grabbed from behind by another.

He was threatened with a knife and forced to hand over his wallet to the offenders, who ran off towards Parkwood.

The victim, from Maidstone, was not injured in the incident. The offenders are said to be of Eastern European appearance. One was around 5ft 10ins tall with a brown scarf over his face.

He was wearing jeans and black Doc Marten boots and he spoke with a foreign accent.

The other offender, who approached the victim from behind, was only seen to be wearing a dark-coloured fleece. He also spoke with a foreign accent.
