AN ANTIQUE funfair, complete with a carousel and Ferris wheel, will be just one of the highlights at the KM War and Peace Show this summer.
The Kent Messenger Group is again joining forces with the Hop Farm Country Park to stage the show which this year runs at the tourist attract at Beltring, near Paddock Wood, from Wednesday to Sunday, July 16 to 20.
Last year's show, one of the largest of its kind, attracted 99,000 visitors.
Show oraniser Rex Cadman said: "We have always had a funfair at War and Peace but it has in the recent past been a modern day one with flashing lights and loud music. We always felt that this was incompatible with the nostalgic feel of the event."
As well as a Chieftain tank and the popular Miller night, featuring 40s food, music and dancing..
For tickets to the Miller night, which are £20 each, or for more details about the show, contact the ticket line on 01622 872068.
