A once popular town centre dessert restaurant has been put on the market for one million pounds.
Creams, which is found on the corner of King Street and Church Street in Maidstone, has been shut for a couple of years.
The near 7,000 sq ft vacant building is found opposite Boots and the Mall shopping centre.
It can be used as a restaurant or cafe and has been described as having “development potential for a mixed-use scheme or change of use”.
Creams Cafe currently has an eight year lease on the site, which started in October 2020, at £40,000 per year.
There are multiple access points to the property from both King Street and Church Street.
In 2021 our reporters tried out the chain’s Chatham Dockside branch.
They went a strawberry milkshake, Ferrero Rocher milkshake, regular nachos, two popcorn chicken waffle bites, a Lotus waffle and a Nutella waffle.
One said: “In hindsight, it was a bit of an overkill, but we were starving and hadn't eaten all morning and the £37.40 order was sure to fill our bellies!”
