Motorists are being warned to drive carefully as a set of traffic lights are not working.
An engineer is being sent to fix the fault on Palace Avenue, near Gabriel's Hill in Maidstone town centre.
The fault is down to a power supply issue and other traffic signals around the centre are thought to be affected.
A statement from KCC Highways reads: "Approach with caution and expect delays in the area."
UK Power Networks has been informed of the issue.
