Remembrance Day two minute silence at The Mall in Maidstone

Maidstone will be honouring Remembrance Day with a two-minute silence at The Mall today.
People can pay their respects to fallen servicemen and women at the King Street shopping centre at 11am.
Shortly beforehand, at 10.45am, the Mayor cllr Derek Butler will be present for a short reading before the bugler will play The Last Stand.
Suzie Brindle, marketing manager at The Mall, said: “The Mall Maidstone is honoured to be remembering those who fought for us in the war and this Remembrance Day we will remember them in centre.
"We hope our shoppers can join us in marking this occasion.”
Shoppers can also pick up a Remembrance Poppy from the Ask Me Point at The Mall Maidstone and from the Royal British Legion stand on Level 2.
The County Town will also mark be paying their respects on Sunday, with a parade through the town followed by a service of remembrance.
It includes a two-minute silence at 11am at the War Memorial in The Broadway, followed by the laying of wreaths.
