Traffic lights out at Linton Hill
14:20, 10 January 2018
Traffic has returned to normal at a busy junction after a set of traffic lights lost power.
Motorists were asked to drive with caution at Linton Hill crossroads, at the junction with Heath Road on Wednesday afternoon, after lights went dark.
UK Power Network was called to the scene, which is just down the road from Cornwallis Academy, Linton Park School and Boughton Monchelsea Primary School.
UK Power Networks said: "Our engineers connected a temporary power supply to the traffic lights at 9am today (Thursday) and completed repairs as quickly as possible to restore mains supplies by 2.30pm."
