Crash on A249 near Sheppey Crossing
18:10, 29 September 2017
Rush-hour traffic was delayed after a car crashed into a barrier on the A249.
It caused tailbacks on the north and southbound carriageways between the Kemsley exit and the Sheppey Bridge.
But the road has been re-opened, say police.
A car on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway collided with a crash barrier at 4.51pm.
One lane was closed while the incident was dealt with. No injuries have been reported.
