Maidstone: Trains between Strood and Maidstone West cancelled due to staff shortage

Commuters between Medway and Maidstone are having difficulties with their journeys this morning.
Southeastern has cancelled some trains between Maidstone West and Strood due to staff shortages.
Currently the 9.34am, 10.34am, 11.34am, and 12.34pm services from Strood to Maidstone West are all cancelled, with the 2.04pm service also not running.
The 10.03am, 11.03am, 12.03pm, and 1.03pm services from Maidstone West to Strood are also cancelled.
Some of the cancelled services were also due to call at Tonbridge and Maidstone Barracks.
A spokesman at Southeastern said: "A shortage of conductors has today caused cancellations to services running between Maidstone West and Strood.
"The cancellations will reduce services between Maidstone West and Strood to an hourly service until the the last cancelled service.
"We’re really sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Service information is available on our website and National Rail Enquiries so please do check before you travel and allow more time for your journey."
