Maidstone: Southeastern trains between Tonbridge, Maidstone West and Strood cancelled and delayed due to operating incident

Trains running between Tonbridge and Strood have been disrupted due to an 'operating incident'.
The 9.03am Southeastern service from Maidstone West to Strood has been cancelled, while the the 9.04am trains running both ways between Strood and Tonbridge service are running around 20 minutes late.
Those services will no longer call at Maidstone Barracks, Aylesford, New Hythe, Snodland, Halling and Cuxton.
The train operator said the delays related to an incident which was currently under investigation, although no more details have yet been provided.
Unconfirmed reports on social media are that a train driver had been taken ill.
Southeastern has been contacted for comment.
Lines were also closed at Snodland earlier this morning, but have now been re-opened. Disruption is expected until 10.30am.
