Commuters were faced with long delays after an electricity failure caused a number of trains to be cancelled.
All services between Maidstone West and Strood Station were suspended earlier today.
A driver of one of the trains reported a loss of power when leaving Maidstone Barracks station.
Response staff from Network Rail investigated the fault with the power supply and fixed the problem.
Services are now running normally.
