Travellers have left the Sittingbourne Road car park in Maidstone

A group of travellers who moved onto a town centre car park have now left.
It is believed they moved into the Sittingbourne Road site in Maidstone on Friday.
About a quarter of the premises was occupied, with around six caravans on site.
However, the convoy moved off the car park voluntarily on Sunday afternoon.
A Maidstone council spokesman said the group had left a small amount of rubbish which was cleaned up this morning.
