Travellers have pitched up their caravans at a park in Maidstone.
Reportedly, there are nine mobile homes in Gatland Recreation Ground.
Kent Police is aware, as is the landowner, Maidstone Borough Council.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: "Kent Police was notified of an unauthorised encampment in Gatland Lane, Maidstone, at 1.39pm on Saturday.
"Officers have attended and spoken with those in attendance. The landowner is aware and, as is standard procedure, will manage any eviction process."
This is not the first time travellers have pitched up at the park, with some setting up an encampment last year.
Maidstone Borough Council has been contacted for a comment.
