A group of travellers have pitched up their caravans on land earmarked for new homes.
Around five caravans and their vehicles moved onto land off Hermitage Lane, in Barming earlier today.
The land is owned by Croudace Homes Ltd, a developer which is in the process of creating a new development of up to 500 homes.
It is set to be called Hermitage Park.
Some travellers and their caravans are still currently on land at Gatland Lane, in Barming, which is nearby the Hermitage Lane site.
Kent Police have been contacted for comment.
