A trespasser caused delays on the Maidstone East railway line today.

Network Rail and Southeastern confirmed a 'trespassing incident' was reported at the station just before 4pm.

Services were unable to pass through the stop until the issue was resolved at around 5pm.

It's not yet known if any arrests were made.

The incident comes after a man was arrested for wandering onto the tracks at Tonbridge station, yesterday.
