Two arrested after alleged assault in College Road car park in Maidstone

Two men have been arrested following an alleged assault.
Police were called just before 7.15pm yesterday (Tuesday) to a report of an assault on a man in his 30s in the public car park in College Road, Maidstone.
Officers attended and the South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to take the victim to hospital.
Two men, aged 27 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.
Following speculation, a police spokesman confirmed the victim had not been stabbed.
